Remembrance Day
2004

Remembrance Day Parade will take place this year on Sunday, 14th November to First
Randalstown Presbyterian Church and the Branch are presently making arrangements to
commemorate it appropriately.

The Parade, led by the Staffordstown Accordion Band and including Branch Members with
their Standard together with representatives of the local Youth Organisations, will assemble at
Portglenone road known localy as the Point, at 10:00, they then will proceed to the Memorial
Garden where the act of Remembrance will take place.

The Parade will then move off to First Randalstown Presbyterian Church where the service will
be conducted by Rev. Dr. John Holmes, assisted by Branch Comrades.

This year we are privileged to have the support of the Royal Irish Regiment, as at the Opening
and Dedication of the Memorial Garden. A Piper and Bugler will take part in the act of
remembrance.

President of The Old Bleach Bowling Club Mr Martin Robb with
the table that was presented to the Bowling Club for all their
help and support over many years
Vice President Jim Giffin presenting Mr Paddy Diamond
with a Royal British Legion Plaque in appreciation of the
legal work he does for Randalstown Branch.

Branch News

Work on the stone wall round the memorial garden, has now been completed and the Garden is
looking brilliant, this is all thanks to, the hard work and fund raising of the Branch Members and
their supporters, who once again rallied round and made it all possible.
